    Looking for a way to bring variety to your side dishes that combines both savory and sweet? This 3-generational family recipe is too good not to pass along.

    Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4-5 carrots, peeled and sliced into sticks
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 TB butter or coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sucanat or drizzle of honey
  • 1 TB dried marjoram
  • Recipe Instructions:

    Melt butter in a large saute pan.

    In the pan, toss carrots and onions in the spices.

    Cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
