German Herbed Carrots

Recipe Description:

Looking for a way to bring variety to your side dishes that combines both savory and sweet? This 3-generational family recipe is too good not to pass along.

Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Servings: 4-6

Difficulty: Easy

Recipe Ingredients:

4-5 carrots, peeled and sliced into sticks

1 onion, sliced

3 TB butter or coconut oil

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp sucanat or drizzle of honey

1 TB dried marjoram

Recipe Instructions:

Melt butter in a large saute pan.

In the pan, toss carrots and onions in the spices.

Cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
