Recipe Description:

Whether you do it for the nutritional reasons of reducing phytic acid — or because you’re excited to finally make rice that DOESN’T stick to the bottom of your pot! — this basic method for preparing rice is a staple for any kitchen.

      1. This is a ballpark. you could go
with the 1:2 ratio but subtract about 1/4 – 1/3 cup of water for each cup of rice you soaked. So of you soaked 1 cup of rice you would cook it in 1 3/4 cup if water. It’s hard to know how much water your rice will soak up in the soaking process. Better to end up with stickier rice than crunchy rice.
