    These old school favorites live up to their name, so be prepared with plenty of napkins! Better than the stuff from a can, and loaded with veggies, this version of Sloppy Joes are healthy and nutrient dense as well as being very yummy!

    Recipe Instructions:

    Brown ground beef in a large skillet with fat. Add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic cloves, and cook until onions are translucent. Add spices and cook 1 minute. Stir in tomato, ketchup, water, apple cider vinegar, honey, and molasses and simmer until thick, about 15 minutes. Serve on toasted and buttered sprouted, sourdough, or gluten-free rolls with cheese, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles or whatever condiments/toppings you enjoy!
