Teff Peanut Butter Cookies

Recipe Description:

These gluten-free teff and peanut butter cookies are simple and make an excellent treat when you need one.

Prep Time: 15 Minutes

Cook Time: 15 Minutes

Servings: 2 Dozen

Difficulty: Easy

Recipe Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of teff flour, brown or white

1/2 tsp sea salt

Recipe Instructions:

Mix together flour and salt.

Set aside.

Gently melt the coconut oil.

Mix the peanut butter and maple syrup in a mixer.

Add the coconut oil.

Add the vanilla.

Slowly add the flour and salt mixer until all ingredients are well-combined.

Drop the dough by rounded spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet.

Flatten with a fork (as you do with peanut butter cookies).

Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.

I made these today and there ok but for sure not for me! Very bland and chalky tasting! I will how ever try teff flour as a wrap next and see how it does with that.
