Is there a substitute for wheat when soaking grains?

    I just found out that my son is allergic to wheat. I know that when soaking grains you are suppose to add a Tbs of wheat per cup of grain. Is there a substitution for the wheat?

    Yes! Buckwheat is high in phytase. Use it instead. :)

    Rye works as well.
